You are so right about how mum's have to stop these "you just wait" comments! Its so unhelpful and causes so much unnecessary anxiety.
You have such a great mindset and I can just tell that you are both already wonderful parents.
Enjoy all the precious baby cuddles. It is a nice time living in the little baby bubble.

I’m rewatching this now that I’m pregnant and experiencing some of these things myself!
I will say I’m almost in my third trimester, 25 weeks pregnant, and I was a little disheartened to hear your advice towards moms having legitimate pregnancy sleep issues. I already dealt with the occasional insomnia and work hard to manage it, but now I’m also having issues not being able to stay asleep or waking up hours earlier than I should. To say to just journal it out or not freak out or take naps during the day as if it’s feasible and helpful for everyone really feels like it’s making small of something that is hugely impactful for well being and even depression/anxiety. I finally reached out to my OBGYN for advice and they recommended Unisom and thankfully I slept like a rock after taking it. I’m glad you didn’t have those issues, but please don’t negate something that can be a really big deal for deal for some moms :/

I’m currently pregnant, as soon as someone mentions a certain type of food then I crave it. Now I crave bagels and cream cheese 😂

I’m 23 weeks now and I actually appreciate the “oh just you wait” comments, ONLY because when I actually get to said thing it never ends up being as bad as everyone says by comparison, since it has been so built up in mind 😂

I agree- body adjusts to changes after a day, then it feels like the new norm. I will really try to stay positive for new moms after giving birth, because the negativity and scare tactics are not positive.

28 weeks pregnant today- first time mom- Man, I keep hearing the same thing- That 'just wait until the third trimester'- and a lot of people telling me I'm not gonna be able to be as active as I have been the entire pregnancy so far- and it's so depressing, but I also kind of have always had that ego-type thing going on where it makes me just go "yeah, well watch. me" lol but we shall see- it's nice hearing that walking felt good for you- I have a really hard time seeing walking as a 'true workout'-which is such BS, but I think that's going to be my go-to the last month of my pregnancy. Thanks for sharing and thanks for the positivity!

Honestly the third trimester has been the best for me. Yes my hips hurt and I'm not sleeping but I feel fantastic other than that. Don't be scared 😚

Watching this at 26 weeks, almost in the 3rd trimester. Cannot believe how fast this is going. I’m also expecting a scorpio baby and my partner and I are also scorpio. Due date is 31 October:)

I'm 29weeks and feeling very sleepy during the day not sleeping at night .
I'm also having an acid reflux which is bad though even when I'm taking some medication for that. As for the back ache it's not that bad as before and I'm feeling very much energetic in the morning walking and keeping myself busy. I had been so scared and nervous thinking about labor and I'm trying many things to keep my mind calm and relaxed as all my sisters have babies and knew what they went through during labour. But I'm keeping my Hope's up and trying to relax hoping that it helps

Im 28 weeks and the past couple of days, the acid reflux is so real😭 and the back pain. But im so excited to get closer to meeting my babygirl💕 i love watching her kick and move in my belly!

I just have to say thank you for saying let’s stop trying to scare other moms. The amount of people that make the oh you just wait comments is redic.... I’m just going into my third trimester and just had this convo with a girlfriend like why can’t we just say I hope you have a great third trimester?! LOL

I was watching the beginning where you talked about mom's stressing new moms out. I am about your size in the video ATM and a friend of a friend almost made me throw up talking about labor. I mean It made me soo nervous and I know it is going to hurt but jeez. I'd rather be told I'm strong and it's gonna be fine that have to sit and dwell on the negative parts.

I used to be a zombie walking to the restroom in the middle of the night but since becoming pregnant if I wake up I notice I’m so alert. Thankfully I can always get back to sleep but its been a little weird to get used to 😅
