I have a theory that the heartless one is D'arce. It would still fit with bring target brand griffith to the throne and ascending him after reviving him. She is shown to be severely affected by reviving leg guard in her s ending photo, so this could've changed her new god form. After Legolas ascended, she could've simply followed him to the void and ascended because she got lost and Legriffith forgot about her and left without her, leaving her to be forced to ascend. Also if you listen closely, the heartless one's battle theme has music from the funger 1 title screen and other areas of the dungeon. And the beta design for New god Darce was wearing Darkness and holding the black steel (old Heartless one design had black steel instead of red virtue)

People complain about the heartless one? Several New Gods from even the first game still look attractive. From a topless woman to a golden man with a fit and muscular body. Even D'arce's New God from is just her bald with black armor. The heartless one is far creepier than gothic bald D'arce lol (For god's sake, Cahara's New God form is him taking his damn shirt off, and that's it, haha.)
And the lore idea that even the New Gods aren't big on her since she curb stomped them being a reference to how the youtuber was one of the first people to demolish all difficulties of the first game is genius lol
Her design fits right the hell in.

This theme is beatiful, mourning and...somewhat desperate. It's not a life-or-death battle, nor it is a child's play. It's more like...a communication. In only possible way.

Oh man, that piano part is just beautiful. It gives makes me wonder about Moonless being lost in darkness for 400 years without her party and the sadness that a player might have about seeing their former buddy as an enemy and desperately trying to feed her rotten flesh like last time.

I love the hearthless one, yep she looks like a classic waifu but If u think enough she is an ascended god and meant as a tribute for a yt channel but somehow that channel got deleted and now is a husk and forgotten just like any new god in fear and hunger
