I thought about this song for the first time since 2013. I remember how much pain I was in and how lonely I was when I'd listen to this song. Man I'm so happy I made it out of that. I didn't realize life wasn't supposed to be that way. Thank you for this song-- it was a source of tenderness that I needed so much. I can never express how much it means to me.

Am I the only one that finds this song to be sad? I really feel it from the lyrics and overall tone. It's a great song, and it comes off as from the heart. I only discovered her a couple of weeks ago, and have been listening to all her songs ever since. By the way, she certainly seems to favor those red shoes. I've seen them here, in "Steal His Heart" and in "Never Play." Ms. Woods, I really admire your work, and have been introducing it to my friends. You are extremely talented. God bless.
