My Dad spent 800 bucks on a 2002 Recon 250 (Identical to the old green one) back when i was like 10 (2012 ish) and it got used almost everyday, working in the woods, trailer on the back, ripping trails, wheelies, dragging people around the yard on an old plastic truck bed liner, it was rolled all of 5-10 times. We changed the oil in it once and never diagnosed anything except bearings in the rear end and a broken stator wire. It never complained and we just sold it a year or so ago. Solid machined you just never could get it to idle ever, every time you'd adjust the idle it would be off again next time but other than that it always ran perfect. Gas and go, Kinda regret selling it because of how reliable it was lmao
