Ah, so this is a mating call? That’s a relief. (For context, I’m bird-sitting and I heard one of the doves making this sound and I was worried it was hurt or something)

Wie Pitu so elegant auf dem Seil balanciert und seine Federn spreizt.
Pema war wohl noch nicht ganz überzeugt. :D

I think the mourning dove is the only bird that i know that doesn't bow + coo

Also i have actually never seen a diamond dove before, they look really nice
