The 2019 Chosen Few DJs Picnic & House Music Festival was held in Jackson Park, Chicago, over the Fourth of July weekend. Jackson Park is at 63rd & Hayes, Chicago. Check this out and we will see you next year!

We're talking about custom, live remixing of songs you thought you knew, but you've never heard like this before, In reality, this video can't possibly recreate the feeling from the Earthquake Sound System on site, but it's the next best thing. Music in the mix includes Loleatta Holloway, The O'Jays, a collection of Chicago House, all wrapped up with the grand finale as Alan takes us to "church," with Kirk Franklin and a stunning finale. (I'm sorry the video cuts off abruptly at the end. We were dancing in the crowd and I lost track of the fact that I bumped the (stop) recording button LOL. I thought this total track was lost and I'm thrilled I'm able to upload it for you to see and share.

People talk so bad about Chicago but i had the chance to work there from 2014 to 2017. Their winters are so long and so strong that they cannot wait till summer...and that's when the magic happens! "Summerfest, Westfest and Lolapalooza are the ones I attended...THE ENERGY IS AMAZING!!!! So many people from all different walks of life and age groups...and the MUSIC!!!! They absolutely love their "HOUSE" music!!! If you've never been you have to go!!! I never felt safer there!
