The mites aren’t parasites, it’s a symbiotic relationship, they make sure the oils from your skin don’t weigh down you eyelashes and eyebrows 😊

I've seen some people in the comments that need a quick lesson. Tendons are connective tissue. They connect bone to muscle. Ligaments are also connective tissue and connect bone to bone. Muscle is it's own kind of tissue. The muscle tissue that you can control is called skeletal muscle, which is not present in the fingers, this is why tendons and ligaments are important. A fun little experiment you can do is watch your wrist when you move your fingers and you can see the tendons move :)

"Parasitic" would not be an appropriate word for the mites on your face thing, they are natural and are in a symbiotic relationship humans ever since the dawn of our existence. They eat excess oils and dirt on our face which produces more of it than any part of our body, lacking this mites potentially give you a super oily face, and if your face is oily, expect dirt to stick onto it and as said oil hardens, your face literaly becomes a coat of waxy sebum. These mites also has been proven that they keep other more actually parasitic mites at bay and helps keep the microbiome of our face balanced and healthy, meaning they kind of also digest some bacterias and germs that stick in the oil of our face.

as a former ER nurse, I have heard the phrasse "public" hairs many times. Often in combination with some type of infestation. I used to remark to my colleagues that those pubic hairs were likely very public, as well. There are also a vast number of people that call anything to do with the genitals, "down there". Depending on the complaint, one often had to ask the patient to be more specific, because "down there" could mean a number of things, including the feet.😂

You know what the dirtiest things are to me:
1) Wiping your private parts with tissue instead of washing them with water.
2) Walking around your house with footwear you use to walk outside.
3) Not taking a shower at all in a day.

The mites on your eye lashes are not bad they are actually helpful and not harmful to us. (Edit): fixed a word

the way she said about the mites living on our faces made it worse than it is, these mites and little tiny bugs actually help us by eating the dead skin, so welcome them
