Having watched boxing for over 4 decades I have never seen a fighter stop his opponent with a lower back injury from bodyshots. Inoue's crazy power probably shocked Doheny's nervous system from his lumbar spine down to his legs. As a person in the medical field that regularly treats sports injuries, it was pretty impressive to witness this. Congrats to The Monster.

Every time I watch Inoue fight it feels like he's fighting against scrubs who started training months ago, then you'll search up the guys name and it's some nickname like "Soul Stealer Simon". This guy is so many levels above every one of his peers it's like everything you watched before he started fighting wasn't even worthy of being called boxing.

That was a masterclass of a gameplan execution. He put in the body work and it paid dividends. Inoue is pfp #1, no one is fighting as much as he is. He finished him in an unprecedented way, against a guy who had knocked out every Japanese fighter he'd fought.
