I agree that the 7th day Sabbath still stands and you are correct about the hand-written ordinances which many Christians mistake for God's commandments written in stone. With regards to the feast days, Jesus only fulfilled the Spring feasts of Unleavened bread, Passover, First fruits and Pentecost. He will fulfill Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles when he returns. Tabernacles is the marriage supper of the lamb where Christ will be united with his bride the church. Zecharia 14 which is a future end-times prophecy tells us that we will be keeping the feast of Tabernacles when Christ is ruling on earth and that those who refuse to keep the feast will be cursed. The feast days, new moons and dietary laws have never been abolished. Colossians 2 is misinterpreted out of context. It is not a justification to abolish the Sabbath day nor is it for forsaking the new moons, feast days or dietary laws. All of these are a shadow of things to come in the Kingdom. Paul was not telling the assembly in Colosse not to let Jews judge them for Not observing those commands. It is the exact opposite. Colosse was in modern day Turkey and was not a place where many Jews lived at that time. It was a city of pagans and Paul was warning the assembly not to let the pagans judge them or mock them for keeping YHWH's set apart commands instead of the pagan traditions of the land. Most Christians believe that Paul was telling us that we no longer have to observe those commands but he was actually telling us that we should continue with them regardless of what the rest of the world thinks because we are set apart and sanctified before YHWH. They are not Jewish feast days. They are HIS feast days and as his people we should observe them now as we will be observing them in the Kingdom. As you said, they are a shadow of things to come. friends, the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath, look at all the things jesus did on the sabbath, it was those very actions that the pharisees used to persecute him.
love God your lord with all your body, mind and spirit, and love your neighbor as you love yourselves, do these and ALL the commandmends are fulfilled.
