The K1 is still holding on strong on 2020. the image quality and the DR is astounding even 4 years after. As always thanks for the comparison Li, nice job!

All of the pentax photos look underexposed but your bias makes you call the properly exposed photos overexposed?

I am suprised the Pentax does so well in the ISO test.
Pentax really is an under appreciated camera brand.
I own a K50, but I am thinking of upgrading to the KP sometime soon.
Do you have a review of the KP and its ISO performance?

Sir my nikon 810 is problem, for viewFinder focus is change in selected subject but same setting Live view Focus is Clear in selected subject, which is problem plese Solve

Nice video...does the Nikon have a Grip. The Pentax with the BG6 Grip...would be my choice. I have a K3ii with a BG5 grip. No battery issues & handles really well. :)

Li, how would the Pentax compare in Mk2 version to a D850 and a 7R3 or even 4? That would tell us is the K-1 is still a worthy competitor in 2020.

Great video, for me dynamic test should be don in a dark room or at night, Not stopping down, that is unrealistic testing, my opinion

My comment over at DPR: Regarding fantastic new sensors capturing wide dynamic range, thereby lessening the need for grad ND's: I think the processing engines of different makers are also involved here. Li at The CameraVille compared Dynamic Range performance of the same 36mpx Sony sensor in Nikon D810, Sony A7r, and Pentax K-1. The Pentax Prime IV engine produced noticeably better DR than the other two cameras with the same sensor. Must be the processing unit . . .
