The Floating Piers, la nuova opera di Christò sul lago d'Iseo: Solzano - Montisola - S. Paolo
Il popolo degli uomini, armato di smartphone e macchina digitale, si ritrova a Montisola per "toccare" con i propri piedi, come l'uomo sbarcato sulla Luna, il nuovo progetto di Christò:
il progetto reinterpreta il Lago d'Iseo per 16 giorni dal 18 giugno al 3 luglio 2016; 70.000 metri quadri di tessuto giallo cangiante, sostenuti da un sistema modulare di pontili galleggianti formato da 200.000 cubi in polietilene ad alta densità, compongono una installazione che si sviluppa a pelo d'acqua seguendo il movimento delle onde. L'opera ha una lunghezza di 4,5 chilometri totali che si
sviluppa in circolo da Sulzano a Monte Isola e poi fino all'isola di San Paolo.
Dalle montagne che circondano il lago si può avere uno sguardo “a volo d'uccello” su The Floating Piers osservandone gli angoli nascosti e prospettive inaspettate.
