How to Reuse Peanut Butter Jars

I actually have a few largeb(40 oz.) peanut butter jars that I use as glasses. One of my jars actually just contained nuts, not peanut butter, but it's basically the same size and shape. I make instant coffee in them or use them for ice water. The wide mouths make them easy to clean and the lid makes it easy to shake up the contents. Plus, if they tip over, it's less likely that my drink will get everywhere. Occasionally, a few drops will escape, or if it's on its side for a while, more might spill, but that could probably be fixed by putting food grade silicone around the inside edge of the lid. I might try it sometime. I wouldn't recommend putting hot drinks in them, just cold to lukewarm.

Damn, I love oats but never thought of this. Thank you! Now I won't resort to just tossing the plastic. Can you wash it after that, or is it up for multiple uses like this?

Also, incredible detail on the logo labels.

Can you show what it looks like after you take it out of the fridge? My parents love oats (I don't) but I showed this to them and they want to see it after

I just used hot water from my kitchen sink with the sprayer nozzle and that blasted the entire jar clean Then I used a soapy-glass tool that people use to wash inside of glasses has a long handle and that did the trick for me
