CICSE, i don’t know if you studied in war zone but students chill till 9th and study after that only. Thx to you ppl my handwork of entire 10th is ruined because i barely passed 9th and bc i choose commerce my handwork was completely useless....

This is totally biased and unjust decision... i worked like really hard for my boards expecting 95+ and it was cancelled... my average of class 9th and 10th is not so good the papers was checked by the school teachers very stictly... they even said in parents teachers meeting "we're knowingly cutting marks so that children work harder and don't get overconfident in 10th boards"...
This is just someting so bad happening with ICSE students!
CBSE students are in a boon for this now!!

I don’t understand how averages of 9th marks and 10th marks will be a good way to assess our marks. The point of having more than one exam in 10 before d boards is to prepare you for the main board exam, so if I failed in prelim 1 and then learnt from my mistakes and got 90% in prelim 2 I will still get around 60% although I learnt from my mistakes. I hope that the board acknowledges this concern of mine and many other students and develop a truly “fair and unbiased method ” to assess us.

There was a cut off system in many of the schools during the 9th std and even in 10th Pre Prelim/ Prelim exams had very strict correction. We all were hoping to do better in 10th than 9th so weren't prepared well enough in 9th but now 9th marks do matter for 10th results. Shocked!

I scored 70 Percent in 9th!
Scored 85 percent in pre boards in 10th

I could have easily scored 90 if boards wwee held!

But this is pathetic

It's unfair and biased!

What if some schools corrected answer script leniently and other's strictly in 9th board exams and these mock exams?What happens to fate of the students now?

Unfortunately in my son’s school in 9th as well as 10th all papers were set tough and corrections were tough, as both years it was board. Kids are victims of the situation.
