Does NRE FD interest again become taxable?

For all you NRIs who plan to return back to India permanently on either a job, or business, or retirement, it is prudent to seek advice of a #financial advisor so that #taxplanning can be done.

This video also includes what happens to your income in the transition period of being a RNOR to a ROR.

Nicely explained mam, subscribed the channel. Can you also tell please how much FD tax needs to be paid if I come mid of a year (lets say I come back in September and my account got converted in December). In this case, do I need to pay tax for whole year or only from the time period when I came back to India

Explained very nicely.

But is still very confusing.

I did close but not sure about being taxed.

You are WRONG and the information that you have provided is incomplete. If you are a US Citizen, receiving USA Social Security benefits, and any US Government pensions those two categories can not be taxed by Indian government. Only US Government can collect income tax on those two types of benefits. Please research this issue and correct your video.
