The 2024 Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray hybrid is the first-ever electrified model of the iconic sports car. With a total output of 665 horsepower (481 kilowatts) from its electric motor and 6.2-liter V8 engine, Chevy claims the hybrid Corvette E-Ray can reach 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and cover a quarter-mile in 10.5 seconds. It features a 1.9-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery, Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 suspension, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport all-season tires. The E-Ray is wider than the standard Stingray and has a different front fascia and new vents in the rear bumper. It will be available in 14 exterior colors, with a model-exclusive Electric Blue stripe, and will have updated driver assistance technology.

The E-Ray will be available later in 2023 with a starting price of $104,295 for the 1LZ coupe and $111,295 for the 1LZ convertible.

The crazy thing is, this is the first ever production AWD Corvette and the Vette is 70 years old, all Chevy (and GM) did was to make the Corvette a year sports car now, and to think there are even more powerful versions still to come, hats off to the Corvette Team and I can't wait to see what else they have planned

Is the underbody of the Eray extra protected for all the snow driving? How about driving the big V8, is it protected from extra wear in super cold conditions?

I don't know man here in Canada I might just get the regular C8 Corvette Sting Ray for $70K

I mean, the hybrid version for $130K is alot...it's practically double the price for a hybrid?

My Toyota Rav 4 only cost like $10K more for the hybrid

I don't see how GM made their hybrid Corvette $60K more than the regular one

Ok so still has an ice, electric engine added but no mpg improvement or environmental benefit which is the purpose of hybrid/all electric vehicles. The only benefit i see is better traction and faster 0-60 times. Not a bad thing and def nice looking, but not convinced best option if looking for electrification. Def has that shock and awe factor.
