In Russell‘s defense, he was a raging drug addict. Of course he wasn’t going to support you in your success if he is in the depths of his addiction, which I’m sure she was aware of not blaming her, but a person can never fully be supportive of anyone else or present for anyone else if they can’t even show up for themselves. Addiction doesn’t discriminate and addiction doesn’t permit for normal functioning relationships it’s destructive. Bless Russell on his sobriety and his new found faith in Jesus Christ. His story has really turned out to be so beautiful and I’m so grateful for his awakening and walking away from Hollywood.
