I have a doubt, as explained by you we have to sent rqst mail for catalogue and weekly update every week.? If we don't send the mail every week (as told by you), our service provider will not send weekly updates automatically?

Gents,

Just want to add here. If your vessel has a modern transas ECDIS <5 years and a Wartsila FOS service where ECDIS connected to VSAT. This is all automatic. You get 1 button called "get charts" that will download everything to ECDIS and update automatically. No need for pen drives or anything.

Hello Sir, since once we complete with updating it will synchronised automatically with another ecdis, any idea on how to update it separately? Because as per company regulations it required at least 24 hrs gap for updating between 2 ecdis

I have issues with transas ecdis, in one Ocean my all the enc upto date but in my transas ecdis one particular enc not showing updated week number is blank and when I click on this enc showing chart information not upto date also after the update I can in report it's showing for about enc update rejected due to previous update missing please do the need ful bro
