Only saving grace is that is an older lock and shimming wasn't an orthodox attack method.

I find it amazing how strong these locks look, but how simple so many are to pick or shim. What are the manufacturer's thinking? Great video again LPL.

Lovely beefy bit 'o brass there. Iseo are some of my favourite euro locks to pick; very talkative. Shame it can be shimmer so readily :-(

Hello my friend!!!what do you think about Montery 80mm shutter lock???is it good??and also what about golddoor and cisa and Hugo locks(law security and high security)???many people use them here in Greece...what's your opinion??

Tighter tolerances around the shackle would have been nice if they were going to go that way. Oh well, looks like a fun pick still so perhaps the day is not lost. :)

Were ball bearing padlocks generally available when this lock was created? Please forgive me, I don't know the history of locks.

Nice picking and explanation, LPL. Shimbolic engineering. The designers ought to be ashimed of themselves. So shimple, yet so difficult to accomplish. OK, I'll quit while I'm behind.

It just seems like it would be cheaper and easier to engineer the unshimable ball bearings.
