Been a little busy the last few weeks with shows in France, Glastonbury festival and others so no big budget music video or strange oddities this week. Just the 4 of us doing what we've always done with a song we've always loved. Performed live at the Princess Pavilion, Falmouth during the 2022 International sea shanty festival.

We need a community video for this song. Can you imagine the power of thousands of voices for this?

i raise a glass to my fellow working class mates for the ones that break their backs to make sure that society keeps on running like a well oiled machine and ease their pain with a beer after a long hard day dont forget you are the foundation of society with out you the world stops

My son is a union official and his son (3 years old) said "There's Daddy's work song" when this came on when it played while we were driving! Thanks for bringing this song back to life

Always a treat to hear the Longest Johns. They’re the reason I listen to sea shanties.

Given the timing of this release; well done boys. Solidarity with the rail workers ✊

At the end of many a 14 hour day, this song has picked me up and carried me into the next day with my chin in the air, ready to face another day.

The fact that most of my music play lists either start with this song or play it second kinda proves that uh... this song is awesome. Great job boys!

I can never get over Robbie's harmonies on the last chorus of this. I love it so much! It's SO GOOD!

On their way home from this festival, they stopped in the service station I worked at and I met JD while he washing his hands in the mens. Here's hoping he sees this comment so he knows I'm sorry for what must have been an awkward meeting with a fan; but I just had to say hello, will likely never have that chance again.

Saw this at the O2 Bristol and it made me cry
Used to sing this with my grandad who served in the army, worked the mines and in a factory. He is 93 and has dementia but remembered this song x

Adequate! I also wanted to say how impressed I am by the lengths y'all go to in order to always stream for your audience, no matter what you're doing.

Possibly the most Adequate version I’ve heard (though you’ll have to go some to beat the Exeter version.... hats off to your sound crew, couldn’t hear my bellowing as I joined in with the audience 🥴😂)
