Prime Minister hits out at ‘turmoil’ in Liberal Party ranks

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has hit out at the “turmoil” in the Liberal Party’s ranks after interjections from Opposition leader Peter Dutton and Deputy leader Sussan Ley during Question Time.

The Prime Minister responded to Ms Ley’s question on interest rate rises using quotes by former treasurer Peter Dutton when he was in office, saying Australians understand interest rates must go up.

“It was his (Peter Dutton’s) quote, not mine. That’s what the Leader of the Opposition had to say...in May 2022,” Mr Albanese said.

“That’s what the Leader of the Opposition had to say then, and the fact that you interjected so loudly and rejected that comment so strongly, well, I was quoting the Leader of the Opposition, says a lot about the turmoil that is in your ranks today.”

What about the turmoil in the economy, race relations etc Albo? You have created a lot of turmoil yourself mate. I hear another 0.5 billion dropped into indigenous affairs to "CLOSE THE GAP" again. The tax payer is not thanking you Elmer.

Say what ever....there is turmoil within the Liberal party...it's plain for all to see. It's also very clear that Australia wide, Liberal politicians are struggling to make ground. However...getting rid of Dutton would be the first step for improvement....then there's the huge question of who replaces him....and just now, there is no-one suitable!

So does it now mean that our parliament and Australia 🇦🇺 is going to have to cop anniversary sookie soopie speeches about the stolen generation every year?
Apologies and speeches about the stolen generation are being overplayed to say the least.
When those children left those institutions they walked out with nine positives in their right hand and only one negative in their left hand.
Inside those institutions the children received three decent meals a day. They were given shoes and clothes. Each night they slept in a decent clean bed. They received medical treatment when needed. Access to a bath with running water everyday.
And more importantly is the fact they came away in possession of an education which equipped them for a better life @ no cost to the parents. As usual.
The children received all of the above when their parents were unable to give these things to their children themselves.
However it’s acknowledged and already apologised for the one negative held in the left hand of these children.
The authorities failed to maintain a continuing connection between the children and parents.
White man is not perfect. White man makes his mistakes.
But white man has always had a go at making his life better for himself and others when the aboriginal peoples of Australia had 40, 000 years to have a go at making their lives better for themselves but instead done absolutely NOTHING!
