I got to admit, Johnny brings the flair & flamboyance into Grindelwald, but Mads? He brings in the mysterious & dark yet alluring aura of Hannibal lecter into his Grindelwald! Both are superb in their own styles! Waiting for more of JK stories

MADS MIKKELSEN performance is flawless, as always he did his best, the result is the perfect portrayal of Grindelwald. From the very first second of his appearance he nails it and I hope for more people to give him a chance despite all the JD strong opinions they defend.

Mads is the perfect Grindelwald, should have been cast from the start. Grindelwald attended Durmstrang, which is a Scandinavian school, and Mads is Danish, which already fits the character's background. I can't imagine Johnny's Grindelwald being a character who Dumbledore would fall in love with, it'll just look like a toxic relationship. Mads' Grindelwald also actually smiles a lot; Johnny doesn't, making Mads appear to be a more dangerous, yet likeable villain.

Saw this movie on the Japan premiere a few days ago... SO GREAT! Mads is the PERFECT Grindelwald, wish we could have had him in the previous films ❤

I have to admit it. Mads is perfect for that role, he portrays his role in a dark way, without make up or anything else, he is only being Grindelwald. After watching this movie, I could understand why Dumbledore fell in love with him. He is attractive and evil in the same time, he is magnetic !! Mads is a brilliant actor !

Mads did a great job. I can't imagine a guy like Dumbledore falling in love with Depp's Gellert, but I do imagine him doing that to Mads' Grindelwald. He is perfect for the role.
