Little did he know that the comedy commissioners lived purely to knock his sitcom ideas back. Time and time again.
They would invite him to London for a five minute meeting only to say “no”. Nine hours on a train for that.
The person we now see is a broken shell of a man. Struggling to find any humour. Crushed by lack of Scottish independence and spirit broken by years of Tory rule. What a sad sight. We loved you, Limmy. You were the best of us.
