Dealers choice! What should our next video be? Seems like it has been too long since we've shot 3D and made a vid... - TC

??? At 5:10 you said "there is one or two brands that make one above 1/4, it's a 7-32..." Uumm, 7/32 isn't bigger than 1/4". It's smaller.

I use a 5/16 G5. Let’s in daylight earlier in the day and later at night. Still accurate with practice

chest rig is vital for proper peep set up

This was a huge wealth of knowledge for me. I am new to archery/bow hunting and recently found out what the sight picture should really look like when looking through the peep. Mine wasn't way off but it is too small. Needless to say I am now looking for a new peep and I think the Insight is the one I want to go with. Thanks for the sharing the wisdom Dan and MFJJ! Getting ready for my spot and stalk Idaho Spring Black Bear hunt, hoping it happens with the bow.

Some really valuable information, especially for the newbies. Wished all New to Archery " peeps" would see this and all the other videos. Particularly the equipment related ones. If your using just a plain simple peep people can drill it out to find the best diameter. DONT DRILL IT WHILE ON THE STRING FOLKS. YOU WILL END UP DESTROYING YOUR

I actually liked the chest rig in the video because it gave me a close up of the ranger green 👌🏻

This video was awesome thanks! I have shot archery for over 20 years. I have always shot a 3/16s because thats what I was told to use. I never knew why. I am changing my peep to a 1/4 asap!

I run no peep. Just did a couple of videos on it. Saw you at TAC San Antonio at the Annihilator Broadhead booth Dan. Can't wait for that review bud, I'll be doing one too. Impressive as hell so far.

Here I am, a few days after getting my 3/16th peep tied in, and choosing it based on the light inside the archery shop.

The quick mention about how the riser partially obstructs the view while lining up your peep around your sight housing answered that one question I could never get answered so thanks guys

A little lamp black (the black from a candle held just under the bottom of a beer can) mixed with a dab of 5 minute epoxy makes black epoxy. If your peep is too big just smear some black epoxy on a pin and swirl it around the inside of the peep. When it hardens, make the hole round with the appropriate sized drill bit.
The beer can bottom is a perfect, disposable mixing bowl.

Its absolutely true that hand torque is magnified the further the scope housing is from the riser but thats also why everyone should torque tune there bows. Theres a reason almost every target archer uses a dovetail sight and it isnt for increased magnification, they could just use a stronger lens if they thought a fixed mount was better, a dovetail is more precise and in return more accurate. At 40yds a .019 fiber on a fixed mount sight completely covers a 40cm single spot target face. Oh use a .010 pin you say? Sure but it wont be very bright during low light conditions.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but he said 7/32 is bigger than a 1/4???🤔

Sorry if late to the party. A size above 1/4" is not 7/32". Question, what is 32 divided by 4?

Whisper lite does a 7/32 aswell but its made out of hard rubber and plastic.
