Poor President McKinley. Twice a victim; first from assassins bullets, second from inadequate medical care. He was apparently one of the most beloved Presidents in US history. RIP Sir.

Lived in Canton as a kid. Me and my cousins used to play in the creek to the right of the monument. Been there many times. Very cool place. I also lived very close to Thomas Edison's birthplace in Milan, Oh. I was a lucky kid.

I live about 2 hours from Akron/Canton, but I've never visited the McKinley memorial. Again, as I have commented on your other videos, I have learned so much. I a m continually impressed with your posts. Your production and final presentations rival ANY network or Hollywood offerings!

A very scenic trip I must say. The fort was beautiful. Those views were awesome. I’m not really sure what to make of the giant clock. McKinley's crypt is quite grand. I had seen it before. Thanks for another great video!

Next time in Parkersburg take the boat ride to Blennerhassett Island. Plenty of historical buildings to explore, there's a covered wagon ride around the island, and tons of history to learn

What an amazing video!! Really loving this series! I’ve lived in Ohio all my life but I have yet to make it to that destination. Love taking road trips! That Fort Boreman looks like an awesome place to visit too! Especially those overlooks. Beautiful!!

I was born and raised in Canton Ohio.My Grandparents are buried in this cemetery. My grandmother was born in 1899, and she told me she remembered soldiers standing guard over President McKinley holding grave. I also have great grandparents there and many other family members buried in this cemetery. I’ve been to many Easter sunrise services in front of this monument.
