They usually don’t talk about existing apps, but I hope they’ll mention updates of Final Cut Pro both for the Mac and the new release for the iPad. Both these products need expanded machine learning/ai to really move forward quickly. Without knowing a thing, I think they hope content creators will build stuff for the new ar/vr thing, and they’ll need solid editing software to do so. The same thing is probably true of their music apps, but I’m not a musician or music produce, so what do I know?

This event will decide if I finally leave apple for Google or Samsung. Apple hasn’t improved the innovation in utility for years.

I really hope to see an update to the WatchOS interface. It’s due. VR would be cool, but I’m more excited about the possibility of AR glasses that resemble regular frames, not a headset device.

This is why I believe Apple is making the novel Neuromancer into a tv show on Apple TV—it will be an opportunity for product placement of their VR/AR headset.
