Supreme Court Pulls Away From California's Governor

California led the nation in 2023 with the highest percentage of unsheltered homeless individuals—68% of its homeless population lacked shelter. A recent Supreme Court ruling has put Governor Gavin Newsom under intense scrutiny, forcing long-overdue accountability for the state and its Northwest neighbors. This landmark decision eliminates the governor’s go-to excuse for failing to address the homeless encampments spreading across California's cities. With $24 billion in taxpayer money unaccounted for from his homelessness program and the state facing a $50 billion deficit, Newsom can no longer deflect responsibility. The time for excuses is over.

Flipping and price gouging affordable housing has reached the rv parks. Those that are on fixed incomes can not keep up with the price gougers. $200 a couple years ago to exist in a tiny space today as much as $850 . Flipping and price gouging affordable housing is Criminal

Lower taxes and stop using taxpayer money on illegal immigrants would put more money in people pockets to pay their rent

It’s time we not only hold government accountable, but there must be consequences. Shorter term limits would help. We can no longer afford to keep deadbeats in office. If they aren’t doing right by their state, who cares what their political affiliation is. We need competent leadership, not officials that will just keep kicking the can down the road. It’s so obvious that our politicians do not listen to their constituents.

Does that mean a person in California can stop in the middle of an intersection and take a crap?

Homeless in California started on his watch as mayor of San Francisco. He just ignored it until it became too big.

I think homelessness is the least concern of chevron, which essentially undermined the entire three branch setup of the american constitution and often negated the bill of rights
