For those who don't understand,

Here is how to bake a chocolate chip cookie:

Ingredients:
• 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
• 3/4 cup white sugar
• 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2 large eggs
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
• (Optional) 1 cup chopped nuts

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy.
3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In another bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet mixture.
5. Stir in the chocolate chips (and nuts if using).
6. Drop dough by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
7. Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until edges are golden. The centers might look a little soft—that’s good!
8. Let them cool on the pan for 2 minutes, then move to a wire rack.
