This is simply wonderful. I have been looking for more than half a year at this point after a channel that uploads original soundtracks for D&D that match my campaigns atmosphere. I've found a lot of music but it has always seemed to not quite match my world. That is until now. The music on this channel seems so incredibly good and I am extremely grateful to have found it. Really thank you SO SO much for creating this, it is beyond wonderful!

It seems to catch that sense of wonder and peace I’ve been hoping to find for my campaign. Thank you so much for uploading all these videos

Writing my third chapter, which takes place in the wilderness during a snowstorm. Perfect tune to have running in the background ❄️🌲🌲🌲🪓

It is the winter of what most of the world calls the year 1857. You are a young Inuit hunter, and your tribe lives in an area of frigid wilderness with roughly ten other tribes. You catch sight of something strange in the snow. It is what appears to be a pair of tracks left by men. Their gait is uneven, staggered, and perhaps weak. You decide to follow these tracks.

You follow for a while, and you are quite astonished at what you find. There are two white men, one much older than the other. They swap back and forth between which one is physically supporting the other. The younger man seems to have a weakness that is stronger in hunger. The older man seems to have a weakness that is stronger in age.

You have not seen a white man for about four years now. He came and spoke to your father. His knowledge of your language was middling, but he could hold a conversation. He said his name was “John Rae” or something like that. You can’t exactly remember. What you do remember is what your father said when you asked him about the man. Your father had said, “He is looking for other white men. They are lost, likely dead, and of no concern to us.”

How strange that people are from so far away, look different, and act different, you think to yourself. However, there is no mistaking the behavior of the two men before you now. They bare fully exhaustion and desperation.

You continue to follow them, and eventually, you are ahead of them. Yet, you are out of their sight. There is something wrong with the younger man. Something in his eyes. He looks like he has done something that he cannot forgive himself of. The older man looks like he has full knowledge, and yet there is no disdain on his face. Well, most of the time.

You wonder if you should approach. You take one step backwards, and you feel your foot move from firm snow to blown snow, perhaps even ice. You turn around and see the great expanse of the great lake (now known as Baker Lake). You quickly move off and flank the two strange white men.

You are now behind them once again as you see them reach the lake’s frozen shore. The younger man seems to try to lay down, and the older man is unable to stop him.

You walk to the north of them and continue to watch them. However, you eventually slip up. The older man sees you, and you can feel his gaze pierce you. He slowly waves towards you. Is he trying to get your attention?

The younger man notices this wave and looks in this same direction. He gets up, and he too stares you down. But the intent in his eyes is different. It is darker. The older man grabs him with strength only knowledge and courage possess. You run off, and you return home.

Eventually, when the nearly day long night is at it’s middle, you return to the lake with several men. Your father has a note, wrapped to prevent the ice from destroying it. It is placed in some edible animal fat. The young man is asleep, and the old man seems to be. You sneak upon their camping spot, and lay the parcel down. You stop. The old man has turned his head to look at you. Yet, a gentle smile has crossed his face. His tired eyes seem compassionate and grateful. He says nothing, for he does not speak your language. He holds two fingers up, and attempts to cross them into a shape of some sorts, despite his gloved hands.

You slowly and near silently back away. You return to your village, and you speak with your father. Neither of you know who the younger man is, but your father utters one name in reference to the older man. “Crozier.”

This fits perfectly with the story we’re using for my campaign. (The story is “Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden”:D)

I love these for game nights. Just having the music in the background while we play, just adds that... je ne sais quoi.
