Can you imagine any other company saying if you don’t buy my product, the product will just get worse? How long do you think that company will stay in business?

“Being in it” means competing for a pennant. Competing for the 3rd WC spot, or any WC spot, is not what should qualify as “being in it” for the Cards…especially being in the NLC

Up big in the bottom of the 9th with two outs, Padres 1 out away from the sweep, the fans get on their feet sarcastically start cheering and chanting SHILDT SHILDT SHILDT SHILDT... Then Mike Shildt comes out to give a curtain call and the stadium erupts!!! Spread the word, this would be the greatest thing ever 😂

Rock meet bottom, when your the butt of opposing team jokes. Maybe if Mo stays another year he can ruin Quinn Mathews and Tink Hence development. Thats one thing they are batting 1.000 on.

Very resigned with this season being what it is, glad Masyn looks great and Burley has been really good as well. But ready for Mozeliak to not be at the helm.

Hopefully Pallante can stay in the rotation and remain consistent.

I'm fine with Bloom finding diamonds where others don't, but if he can have us in the hunt on the cheap, nothing changes if the owner won't spend to propel us further.

Not sure any team should ever say “let’s do what the white sox did during their historically bad season”

What I would like to know is how bad does the organization believe their problems go? Do they view the last two years as minor cosmetic issues or do they believe they have major structural issues? We have been looking at these issues going back before Matheny's tenure with hitting etc. and how Jeff Albert was going to fix the hitting with system wide hitting philosophies. It seems Mike Shildt held it together as long as he could and now those issues he might have identified have really blown the whole organization apart.

How far does the upcoming examination go? It is the problem of leadership at Moe's level to fix issues that have taken 5 years to implement and then fix and correct those bad decisions to move forward.

The next 1 or 2 to me are the "Turning Point". I came into this series thinking, their ONLY CHANCE to "stay alive" in the Postseason Hunt was that they had to AT A MINIMUM Split this Series. That would mean that they HAVE TO Win Tonight AND Tomorrow Afternoon.

Ollie, Mo and the pitching and hitting coaches all need to go.

Really disappointing to hear that Mo plans to stay on until the end of the 2025 season. I really wish he’d just step aside and take some sort of “senior advisor” role to his replacement for his last year.

I’m not going to criticize payroll….payroll is in line with their revenue as far as league rankings…but if BDW can look at the growing laundry list of promising hitting prospects that fail to develop in the organization and not make systematic changes, it’s hard to see where things are going to change long term….changes are needed at the top and in fairness, Mo looks like a guy that is burnt out on his job. I hope the DeWitt’s see the empty seats and accept they can’t just run it back again in 25…I haven’t watched a full game since the PhamSlam and I hate that I’m checked out on this team.

Just like an out of touch front office. Double down on what is screwing up your organization. Memories of decades of Cub flubs. Beam me up Scotty!

All the excitement of a funeral home at Busch.

DeWitt doesn’t care about this team or its fans! When you threaten fans with not showing up we won’t put a good team together it’s time for them to sell this team!
