I bought one. Fantastic! Face appears metallic grey in some indirect light with a brushed finish. Very nice effect. Stem returns confidently and feels very well sealed. Great balance on the wrist and comfortable after burnishing watch back engraving with leather a few times. Be sure to check all the screws. Mine keeps 5 or so seconds a day fast! Perfect. Small indices illuminate clearly and all night. Elegant design that does not look cheap or copied. Thanks for this review and thank you Obris Morgan!

Love this watch (wearing mine right now - blasted finish, blue dial, blue font)... such a great spec for the price and looked / performed brilliantly at the beach and the pool on recent trip to malaysia. Wouldnt hesistate to recommend. Ps. nice review =)

You can have a dive extension for less than $279. My seiko prospex has a dive extension on the steel bracelet and it was $199. However, I'm softening on the lack of dive extensions. I haven't been diving in years, but if I were to wear a watch, I'd probably forego the steel bracelet and go either rubber/silicon, canvas or nylon nato.

You forgot to add the import duty charge, into the UK its £50 that's another $75 that makes it a loss less competitive!

Approximately how many hours of power reserve do you get on a full wind, please? After a full wind, and a whole day's worth of wearing on the wrist, I barely get an extra 10 hours of power reserve on this watch. And it's been this way since I purchased it. Perhaps I should have sent it back while it was still in warranty, but that time has since passed...

what's the bezel? ceramic? aluminum? from the look don't think it is ceramic. ..maybe that explain why it's cheap?

i have been watching this brand for a few years now. if you want one new i suggest you subscribe to their email as they sell out quick.  Orders for the explorer II are open now and i have put my money down. I have not yet seen any of their watches in the flesh but im excited!

Get a Tudor Pelagos it's only a few bucks more and it's a lot better.
