He once went to find out the whereabouts of an older fan couple he hadn't seen at the gate for some time. Elvis discovered that they lived in a trailer and that the husband had fallen ill. Elvis paid their hospital bill. Elvis Presley really cared about his fellow-men. Notwithstanding his looks and talents Elvis Presley is a tragic man because his goodness was too often rewarded with betrayal, extortion, theft, lies, deceit, abuse, slander, defamation and humiliation. No wonder Elvis Presley became emotionally tired and disappointed. Elvis Presley was not assertive enough and that made him an easy victim.
