BMW really hit the nail on the head with this exhaust. Guys can do the "poor mans" method and chop off mufflers are they like, but 99% of the cars I hear where someone did that sound obnoxious, drone like crazy and idle like an old John Deere tractor. The MPPSK kit on these cars is where its at!

I love my 440 M performance...SO MUCH. This guy is over doing it a bit lol I like to keep it classy haha. But to me the best exhaust noise is when you hit that perfect shift in Sport + Manual mode

Picked up mine on 20th of October. This thing sounds mean in sports mode. But you have to get the M package 2 to get the exhaust and extra horsepower & torque.

Sounds like my old X4 M40i. Which had more character than my old M4. And no farting (less) farting sound between gears. Me likey.

I’m getting one of these in a year and a half. I’ll definitely try to find a M sport model that comes with the m sport exhaust already. It will be my new daily replacing my E90 328i. A poor mans M4 but it sounds so mean and not as expensive to maintain. Then hopefully I can get a G80 M3 Comp. The F32 440i is quite a bargain on the used market nowadays. Hence why I’m planning on getting one.

Sounds really good from your camera, I assume the testing was all done with the flaps/valves fully open? How is the volume inside the cabin with the windows up and cruising speeds on the high way? I want something with more grunt than the stock exhaust, but I'm looking for something that also isn't loud inside the cabin since I daily drive mine and like too be able too hear conversations and not have to raise my voice over the drone.

Hi Guys, i am also planning for 440i. However i do not see any option for m package 1 or 2 when i build my own vehicle online. It only has m design package. Do i need to talk to the dealer if i want m package 1or 2 installed.
Also, could you please share the price of m package 2?

I just picked up mine too. I noticed the central console area has a small rattling when it's in sport mode as I drive it in between 2k-3k rpm. The sport exhaust sounds so great but it creates more vibration in the cabin and therefore I can hear the rattling noise in the cabin. Have you experienced any rattling in the cabin when it's in sport mode?
