The irony of having the first pick where nobody wants the 1st pick is the most Patriots thing ever does anybody really believe that the Raiders will be willing to part with any significant draft capital to move up and take either one of these QBs with the first overall pick? They can trade down but they will be fortunate to get a second rd pick this year and maybe a second or 3rd in the 2026 draft. It also puts them picking 6th in the second rd which could be the difference between getting a good player and ending up with another JayLynn Polk

However Shedur will be a Awesome NFL quarterback because he will have Tight ends and running backs to throw too which was not the case at Colorado Big difference. Tom Brady had a Tight End to throw to consistently. Not Shedur

If the Pats end up at #1 my dream would be to trade down still in the top 10 and get Banks. Then use some of the captial from the trade to get back into the first and take Josh Simmons. You shore up your line in the 1st 2 picks and still have plenty of picks left to address other positions. This would be with us getting Tee Higgins in FA. Otherwise maybe get back in the 1st for Burden or Egbuka

As a Browns fan, I hear so much that this qb class is bad but ppl need to be reminded that clear cut Luck type prospects dont come around often. Mahomes, Allen, Jackson at no point were considered the guy and had questions. Daniels completely changed the fortune for the Commanders. If the Browns arent taking a qb, I would love to hear how they plan to be competitive going forward while simultaneously having job security. Dont tell me Kirk Cousins, Rodgers, Winston with more weapons is going to change the team. The fact the FO is even getting a chance to correct the DW trade is wild. Anyone else is fired. See Jets. I expect this organization to try and move to #1 and take the qb of their choice. Pats still get Hunter and some extra picks.

I know someone will argue well Graham and Carter would be huge gets. They would be. But them alone doesnt add wins to this team. I put Ward or Sanders on this current roster what do you think their record is? Maybe .500 fighting for a playoff spot? Browns are the only recent playoff team inside the top 10 that needs a qb. Its a great landing spot for any rookie.

For whatever reason I tend to trust you the most rn when it comes to who are the best players in the class, and I’m super interested in why you think some players should be lower or higher in the larger conversation. After watching the Pats all year I think the player we really need is Abdul Carter. We desperately need pass rush and I feel like he could be a Will Anderson type in the NFL
