It's even more suprising now. "Dasu" has "to be published, to get out, to run(fever)" meanings. And the Turkish equivalent "çıkmak" has the exact same 3 meanings. SUGOI DESU NE

先生、質問 が あります. In example of 休みます vocab, you have used ねむそう but when we say something looks like we use either verb (stem form)+そうです or verb (plain form) +よう です. So according to me it should be ねむいそう、休んだ ほうが いい

Can I ask a question? I wonder why the え sound in つとめます( 0:27 ) and the え sound in えんりょなく( 7:59 ) don’t sound the same? Please help me understand this and thanks in advance.
