Here in Ireland paternity leave is a workers right and protected by laws so when my wife give birth I as the father will get 2 weeks paid paternity leave to spend with my wife and child. I can also disconnect from my dutys at work for thoes 2 weeks and just enjoy that time without calls, texts or emails from the office.
