I remember the cutscene where Lando meets Han and hugs him in Empire, he does the kissing animation because they hadn’t made just a regular hugging one

I got stuck when the Endor level would never trigger a cutscene to finish the level lmao.
There was also a bug on Jabba's Ship when you were jumping around the outside, where if you fell you wouldnt hit the death barrier and your character would fly round the ship in an infinite loop in a sitting animation 😂

i think i owned this game back in 2008. i remember being super frustrated at the ewok level because it straight up did not work

I grew up with this game, Its so bad. The ship bug in the hub was really bad. So bad if you managed to save while a ship in the hub you can permanently break the game due to not being able to change back to a normal character

And then the complete saga came to DS, fixed most bugs, had levels similar to the consoles and was awesome

trying to beat the sarlacc pit level with the bug causing the other characters to get stuck was hell

Because the cutscenes in game used the in game engine, and that there is an extra red brick or whatever that allows you to activate the letterbox cutscene effect. I went absolutely crazy on this game as a kid, making my own cutscenes and story using the different characters.

I also found out that you could character swap mid cutscene using an action replay to play in cutscene areas to further tell my own stories.

It was awesome.

I LOVE this game unironically. The jank is part of the nostalgia for me

Fun fact: this game has a Resident Evil easter egg hidden in the escape from Echo Base level. I can't find it documented anywhere online but I'm too lazy to do it myself. If you can find and capture it, you'd be the first!

This was my first ever video game. I lost it some time but bought it again just to play through this mess again. And its still messy as always but it also has a special place in my heart haha

Man I remember making a bunch of bugged custom characters by randomizing and throwing weapons or jetpacks into "impossible" combos. Some of my favorite were the IG88's body smacking people with a lightsaber in one hand, essentially getting yoda and throwing a jetpack on and launching super high with the double jump getting boosted by the rockets, and my favorite normal combo was a pair of Han Solo's legs and Bossk's grenade launcher for the triple explosive shots after Han's rolls.

This game also has a pretty kick-ass multiplayer. Free for all bounty hunter 3rd person arena shooter

I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but in the Xbox version of the original Lego Star Wars, during the Pod Racing level, some of the death cutscenes will loop indefinitely with no way to get out of it, forcing you to just reset the console.

I don’t know if this bug occurs on the PS2 or GameCube versions, but I’ve tested it multiple times on Xbox and have been able to reproduce it consistently
