Just got done watching samito’s doom guide and he preaches for slamming in and punching out, for some overshields. Kind of how this dude did at first, gotta admit tho, slamming into a charging zen right off the bat was ballsy.

I’m also just about a minute in.

Another thing about his block aside from looking at the floor was that he keeps jumping and like trying to juke out shots. It’s way better to just stand still or slowly walk linearly towards cover so the enemies actually land more shots and you get charge. A lot of times I stand til the very last second next to cover with my block because sometimes enemies mistime when it’ll end and you end up getting that last bit of charge you need

Istg people are learning this slam in punch out thing from flats

Like yeah it builds ult sure
But meteor strike is dogshit
You're better off thinking you don't have an ultimate than to play around your meteor strike

Just punch in follow up try to stall for a second or two (for the sake of cycling cooldowns) shoot all your primary then slam out

I don’t play doom but this made me realize using block is the same as DM on DVa, use it when someone is doing burst dmg on you -> profit.

Starting as Doom you have to hone in on a target sometimes. This person seems to want to fight everyone and never kills anyone consistently. My thoughts.

that slams gives u high high ulti charge ( but u need to hit some people) u can get between 10-18 ult charge more or less. in the beginning u need to use that to charge ult quick and only punch to scape or oneshot.
