The new superstar of Indian shooting

India jumped to the top of the pecking order as young Manu Bhaker clinched a gold medal in the ISSF World Cup in Guadalajara, Mexico. 16-year-old Bhaker is the youngest Indian woman to have won the championship. The 11th standard student recently secured a quota place for the 2018 Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games, won a sensational gold to continue India’s surge in the season’s first World Cup. Manu won the 10m air pistol gold medal and partnered Om Prakash Mitharval for the 10m air pistol mixed team gold.

I used to do shooting.. Won silver in state ... But no received no reward.. Even the medal was taken by the rifle shooting association... Because i was unable to be there to receive it due to my exams.. The association said that the medal is now at lucknow office.. And they denied to mail it to me.. Or hand it over to my relative...😐😐😐😒😒😒 my medal is still with the association...

I had to pay all the expenses ...(travel, food, stay, etc.) When i went to play nationals in pune.. ..
Even payed overpriced Rs.500 just to refill one of my gun-cylinder..

Facing all this i lost my interest in shooting... And now my gun is just in the box for months.. Waiting for my decision to sell it or.. Start shooting again..
But i don't think i will be getting a reason to use it again..😢😢😭

No doubt we are doing great in Air rifle and pistol shooting, but the guns are too expensive for talents from medium society. A decent PCP pistol for contest will exceed 1lakh 30k. Precihole has just come up with PCP p100 and it's price is 45k but this is only an advanced level gun.
