Something people seem to neglect in regards to gmini is that it FULLY BENEFITS from commander and merc base’s buffs, making it even better

I'm glad that players who are earlier on and don't have hardcore or golden towers now have a great DPS option

Gold Mini is now the best late-game tower in terms of dps. Also he benefits more from supports than Engi and Accel.

Update: Accel is more reliable in mid-game and late-game now. After recent rebalance still has the same dps on lvl 5 but range and charge is way better.

Edit (was written before update) :

To all people who think that Accel is better in most cases:

Early-game:

Gold Mini can be used for early-game in Fallen and Special modes unlike Accel that has higher placement/upgrade cost and lower dps from lvl 0 to lvl 3 (forgot to mention long time of charge/overcharge/cooldown).
Accel can be better than Gold Mini for early-game in Hardcore if you don't have good lead penetration towers.
Accel gets hidden detection for 5, 050$ when Gold Mini gets hidden detection for 6, 200$ but it doesn't really matter since Gold Mini has better dps and no overcharge limit for higher cost.

Mid-game:

Gold Mini is better than Accel for mid-game since he is way cheaper and has more dps.
Accel's only upside over Gold Mini is higher range.

Late-game:

Gold Mini works better with supports than Accel and doesn't have overcharge mechanic. Accel is affected less by range reduction from Wox the Fox, Gunslinger and Nuclear Monster since he has 20 range when Gold Mini has 18. Accel is better for squads.
Gold Mini is still better in terms of price but you need to place more in order to get better dps than Accel:

Cost of 8 maxed out Accels: 439, 200$
Dps of 8 maxed out Accels: 2278.48 dps
Cost of 11 maxed out Gold Minis: 417, 450$
Dps of 11 maxed out Gold Minis: 2444.42 dps

15 Gold Minis dps is 3333, 3 so that makes him better than Engineer (6 Engineers with 24 sentries have 2723, 22 dps but engi is better for crowd control and has that much dps just for 6 towers).

Conclusion:

So basically Gold Mini is better than Accel in solo, duo and trio games. Gold Mini gets more boosts from supports than Accel and Engineer.

Just a slight correction, regular minigunner no longer has lead detection at all

They gave Golden Minigunner the golden paintball mask thing that was on the OG Golden Soldier I know, and on the actual Golden Commando who was the FIRST.
I don't have Golden Minigunner so this may be an old change, notably the armor chest plate thing reminds me of Golden Juggernaut from TDX how interesting.

i was playing polluted and noticed the dps so i went straght to youtube

This buff is similar to the cowboy buff bc they instead of making it have no placement limit they made it so it’s more cost efficient but still a high placement limit making them viable for non solo rounds.
