I am a black man and I have loved this song ever since I heard it. I was living in Darlington South Carolina and WJMX out of Florence South Carolina was playing Baby Come Back. I am still today in love with the song. I was talking to my wife and song a few lyrics of the song and she said "I remember that song." So I looked it up and played it then sent it to her phone. As I am writing this text she is calling me so we can reminisce on where we were and what we were doing when this song was a hit all over the sweet USA. Thank you Player for such a sweet hit. I am sure a lot of babies were born as a result of BCB.

An old boyfriend broke my heart. Then he tried to get me back. I had moved on but he was a bartender at a bar I went to alot so he went over to the jukebox and played this song. It was so hard for him but I couldn't go back because he dumped me and hurt 💔 me I than moved out of state. But we remained friends. He never got married or had kids and passed away in our 40's
I went to the funeral home and his mom and brothers and sister. They were so happy to see me It had been 30 years. This song took me back to that time and makes me cry every time😢

I love ‘Baby come back’, absolutely fantastic and it makes me want to be transported back to the seventies. But i had no idea Peter was from the UK and just 50 miles from where I live.🙂
