I agree, …….I cannot stand fusible interfacings…..other channels just think it is the only real way and sew in is a ‘hassle’……..in the end though, sew in gives a much much better looking (professional) result. Thank you for your video. 😉

Thank you! I’ve seen so much about iron on but I needed to know how about sew-in interfacing because I’m learning to sew and using a dress pattern from the 1950s.

Sew within seam allowance, read thru lots of forums and you solved it here
Some of my iron on projects haven't held up, looking for better ideas, thank you

I chose a fabric for a dress that can't handle fusible interfacing so wanted to make sure I understood how to do sew-in and this video made it very clear, thank you!

Hi! Thank you for the video! Would using very stiff interfacing be possible for something like this? Would turning the fabric inside out with very stiff interfacing within cause issues along the edge?

I’m going to try this out now on a button placket….

Anastasia could you share where you found the pattern for the gorgeous dress you are wearing? I love it!

Hi, is it possible to have a tutorial to make a trousers waistband with sew-in interfacing? It’s difficult to find a good tutorial which explains that (I think that it is a little bit more complexe than fusible interfacing waistband)

YAAASS!! Thank you so much for this!! Would there ever be an occassion where you would choose to surge your sewable interface to your project or is that excessive?

I'm not saying I will never use fusible again... but I may never use fusible again. It never turns out for me. Maybe my iron isn't hot enough. Maybe I always get dud batches of Pellon. It. Never. Works. Thank you for this excellent short, sweet, and to-the-point tutorial. :)

How would you do this with a zipper where it doesnt meet up with another seam on one side? Maybe hand stitch inside, Or just stitch showing outside, or keep the interface narrow?

Is there a reason you would want to use sew in interfacing instead of the heat activated stick on kind?

Because, frankly, it’s the stick on stuff is so much easier.

Can I just sew the fabric and interfacing together and leave it like that? Without adding the other piece of fabric on it?

I wanna make a newsboy hat do I need interfacing for the body of the hat? I know I need it for the brim. I found a great YouTube video to follow with free pattern. I know I wanna use sew in interfacing because fusible can clog up a machine in time
