Is The Worker Harrier Tournament Ready?

The excitement for the Worker Harrier is very real, and it's a solid offering from Worker, but is it tournament ready out of the box?

Unfortunately while filming I managed to hurt myself and had to cut it short, so the video is missing footage I wanted to have in it.

This video has less B roll footage to show off certain things than I was intending, I managed to hurt myself while filming and wasn't able to get everything I wanted to before release, apologies for that!

Loving this series! Short and sweet, but you still deliver what you set out to. We're loving the Harrier, and we hope to see more Worker blasters improve on this design -- perhaps a successor to the Cheetah 2.0 with the same tooless barrel swap?
One thing to note: we did use the included injection-molded SCAR in our chrono testing, so (all else being equal) it shouldn't be the issue with your performance being lower than expected. - Perry

I've got one of these in the mail heading my way. I'm definitely looking forward to reviewing. Nice video, I appreciate the info and even though you're critical of the blaster, I feel it's coming from a good place and not malicious in any way. Thanks for the review have a good one!

GODDAMN you are killing the B-roll game haha. Love this series and I really do think you had a lemon be cause my experience has been great with several of these and in my review I found the performance to be superb and very consistent with the right choice in barrel and spring combos.

Good to still see you around, Jang.

The Harrier, like many Worker blasters before it, relies on you buying the parts you want or need separately. So "out of the box"? No, most likely. But it's still stupid easy to change out parts to your FPS needs.

Dang, this Worker Harrier seems to have some issues. I think the Dart Zone MK1.2 is gonna be a better buy- thanks for the recommendation! ❤

You're not the first person to find issues with the Harrier's catch. Apparently with long term use or after around 2000 shots it'll only catch 50% of the time.

I love this series! I have a video coming that I think you'll find extremely helpful. I thought I had a lemon too... then... I found my issue. :) Nice to see you again!

a rival mag spring can be used to replace the return spring - it's not as strong but just enough that it holds in the pusher.

Love your reviews. Do you plan on reviewing the shellington Kirin?

I know you mentioned something about not liking the return spring and needing to adjust play style. Personally, this in conjuction with the skinny pusher is what makes this setup ideal for tournament play. One of the biggest gaps for a player is the vunerability of a reload. If you are ammo conscious this is actually an opportunity with this blaster instead of a vulnerability. I prime the blaster with the last dart and then swap mags with breech closed. This means that while normally, I would be vulnerable... I can still fire at any moment while reloading. I actually got a player in tournament this way as they tried to move on me while I visibly discarded my mag out of cover During Maryland Mayhem MFT.

Your video is critical, but when the thing is two hundred bucks after tax, you should be critical of it. I'm a huge fan of the Harrier, but there's some design elements, like the gap in the trigger guard that just leave me like "....why??"

Nice review with the critiques.
I’ve seen a couple of people talking about the catch and plunger but I seriously haven’t come accross this.
I purchased two and and really wanted to try and make my blue one fail but I just couldn’t.
This was after a morning of gameplay on the 1.6x300 and literally sitting all afternoon in my backyard continuously firing…..well almost, the arms needed a rest every now and then 😆 but I just couldn’t get it to happen.
I also need a reason to drop in all the consumables I brought to go along with it for this purpose 😆
I’d say there’s a few lemons in the batch.
