I remember in 2006 or so, my daughter was 6 or 7 and I used to play, Beatles Past Masters, and she naively said, “ he doesn’t seem very down, he seems up” I thought that was a brilliant observation.

Almost impossible to sing this Beatles song and get even close to Paul’s voice. Paul certainly couldn’t manage that one now but you aced it Mike. Well done on another great video breakdown.

Fantastic lesson as always Mike. Never realised how wild some of George’s guitar part was. Love the authenticity of this - and great job on the vocals

Great lesson on this rocker Mike. Another song that could have been an A side single. I saw this yesterday when you first posted it. Then got email this morning that it was on you tube. I threw no tomatoes on your sound alike. You did very well on a screamer. Thanks for posting

Fantastic! One of my favorite Beatles rockers 😃 Thank you Mike for breaking this one down to the roots! You have a sixth sense for showing the nuts and bolts and histories of the Fab 4 recordings

Bravo sir 👏🏻

Sorted the men from the boys. You gave it a good go, hats off. Macca in his prime was something special.. The Gretsch around the C ruled.

I remember this record when it came out. Of course, I loved Help, but I wore out this B-side. The energy of this song is infectious. I didn't know they used it as their closer on the 1965 tour. I appreciate the history and recording notes you provide in these lessons almost as much as the music. Another fantastic lesson. And your vocal was fabulous. I can't believe the pitch control you have when you're screaming those lines at the limits of your upper register. I mean, it was literally pitch perfect. To sum it up, as always, you ROCK, Mike. ✌❤

Good stuff as always Mike. When I saw the Beatles in Memphis in 1966, they closed with "Long Tall Sally." Hearing McCartney sing that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
