I love that they took the time to come up with a long name just so they could use "MiceHab" as an acronym.

now, imagine those mice as humans. Life is controlled by machines. In space without them realizing it. I think I would make a great movie or survivor game haha

what if mice revolt, take over and modify station, fly off to another world, meet aliens and ask for help designing six feet long snap traps

For me it's yes. Why don't we see any mice colonies in space? It would be an amazing and useful experiment. I'd work on it.

What i don't like about this is they are isolated the majority of the time, which would basically make it a jail. Mice are very social animals

With people spending big bucks assuming we will live on Mars someday, what a waste it would be to find out we could not

occasionally miracle happen and NASA come up with useful mission. This is first one in last 30 years. This give hope they have brain and occasionally they use it. The experiment is good, but incomplete. To complete it they need to study the gravity, not just the effect of it. If the exercise to be useful in providing solution for gravity effect. MG1

that's a very interesting experiment can't wait to hear about the results once finished but I wonder how their standard of living would effect the experiment. I know it's cheaper this way but I think a much better experiment would be done if they added an installation at the international space station and the scientist living on it to monitor and look after them. at least that way we could get rid of the poor living standard in that small ass cage effecting the experiment results
