Helicopter crash kills two people in Ireland

A helicopter has crashed in Ireland killing two people on board.

The men are believed to have been the only people on board.

The helicopter came down, crashing into the roof of a farm building in County Westmeath.

A team of investigators have been sent to the crash site.

I was there at Weston airport, I saw the rotor blades start up and I was thinking of taking a video but I didn’t have time since I was doing a lesson, thst video could’ve been the last existing footage of the people in the helicopter, as soon as anyone gets any names I need to know because there is a good chance I’ve seen them in Weston before

Heard a very brief mentioned on BBC then nothing but I am not surprised since what had happened in Southport but sorry for for the loss of those Irish citizens. Not much mentioned on YT either.

The logged flight profile looked like they were practicing autorotations, descending to almost ground level, climbing up and repeating this about 5 times. My guess is that the 6th autorotation got too slow and they lost tail rotor authority.

That helicopter was struck by an unimaginable force. That thing wouldnt have been lifted off in if that damage was there before. Sorry.. you need to get better than some normal "investigators" there.
