Just watched this documentary on Netflix. Just came here to express my thoughts on Italian people. I’m appalled by these people, who while searching for Yara’s body, have found other women who have been killed and were treated with disregard, and considered as second class human, just because, they were foreigners. What the f**k?

I was 10 when Yara disappeared but I remember it clearly, everyone was shocked and the news were always updated; unfortunately it seems that they didn’t ask for the family’s permission so I’m sorry but it seems to me they’re making money over her death. I hope the family’s lawyer will sue someone, it’s very distrurbing for me and for us in Italy who followed Yara’s history with sadness and hope.

the beautiful thing about this crime is that by testing the DNA of all the citizens of the country, cases of betrayal with relative children hidden among the fellow citizens have been discovered. I'm not going to tell you more because reality surpasses fantasy in this case of murder in the Italian province.

I like the trailer, it seems to be shot where it happened judging by the accents and locations, in Lombardy, I still remember the case of this poor girl, a very famous case in Italy and Europe but I don't think outside the EU they have ever heard of this story so I would have avoided some spoilers in the trailer.

A bit weird making this sad case a movie and not a documentary. Now we see it through a forced perspective. The defendents are still on the case and started in january 2021 to bring it back in front of the court. There are still a lot of details missing...

Per chi ha seguito la vicenda giudiziaria, questo "film" ben fatto e accurato é solo la conferma che in carcere si trova una persona che non c'entra nulla, cosí come per il caso di Chiara Poggi. Processi mediatici in cui le pressioni dall'alto obbligano le nostre "forse dell'ordine" a chiudere le indagini su un improbabile colpevole, seguirà una magistratura che nel paese delle banane é tutt'altro che indipendente. Un sollievo nel breve termine, ma poi nel lungo termine, una perdita totale di fiducia nelle istituzioni. Ne consegue un danno sociale. Fu, il BelPaese.
