SABERING CHAMPAGNE! Is Champagne France worth it?!🍾

What is it like to visit Champagne France! Very Bubbly of course! 😀 Eperney, Reims, and Sacy.

Our first stop in Europe in August 2021 is in Champagne, France! This idillic wine region is home to some of the most prestigious brands in the world. During our time here we stopped at Ruinart, Perrier-Jouët, and La Maison Penet "a universe where Terroir and extreme refinement combine to perfection"

For those of who say Disney World is the happiest place on earth, you have not been to Champagne!

Great video! I’ve been to Champagne twice, and have learned that if there is a house that you like, and are not open to the public, e-mail them chances are they will invite you. We visited Paul Bara, Alfred Gratien, and Dosnon, all three treated us like rock stars. All the tours were free. At Dosnon the gave us a bottle to take home for dinner.

We too are a couple traveling the world but without video. Last month was San Sebastian and Bordeaux. Four years ago we spent five days in the Champagne region and our favorite champagne was the La Maison Penet. Since traveling there we have been in continuous communication with La Maison Penet, he got his MBA here in the States, and we regularly receive their wine. Robert Parker was there the week after us and said it was the best champagne he tasted all year (94 points), We took Penet to the NYC Champagne event consisting of mostly champagne producers. They loved it. Love your videos!

Great video. We did that as a private day trip from Paris back in 2013. Amazing place. You’re right about the small Champagne producers. They are way less expensive and actually better than the large producers. Hope to get back there again someday.
