It got a 5 star in Euro NCAP. Check on YouTube full testing Euro NCAP video is uploaded in their channel.
Latin NCAP is very strict and after this test, later with 6 airbags it scored a much higher score in Latin Ncap with a 3 star.
The body structure was rated as stable which is the most important thing for safety in cars. It missed 2 stars only because of other minor factors like isofix placement and no option to turn off seat belts, which isn’t a deal breaker.

No doubt Tucson is a very safe car since its structure is made of Advanced high strength steel. Also in 2022 it was tested by IIHS and received Top Safety Pick+ award.

Also to get facts right to all, the body structure was rated as stable. The reason why it scored only 3stars with the six airbags version is because according to Latin NCAP the placement of isofix was not in appropriate place and also there was no option to turn off airbags. As stated the Latin Ncap is very strict.
