Cockpit Casual - A Tale of 7 Virgins (Part Four) | Cockpit View

On the final installment of the four-part series, Steve and Jon complete one of the final re-deliveries of a Boeing 737-800 to Virgin Australia from the California Desert. Picking up where part 3 left off; on departure out of Honolulu, the route passes over Johnston Atoll (PJON) and then lands in Majuro, in the US Marshall Islands (PKMJ/MAJ) for fuel.

The episode features a real-time visual approach and landing, as well as the departure from Majuro from multiple cockpit camera views in 4K. The tiny atoll is gorgeous from the air, and the scenes are arguably among the best aviation-oriented Majuro content that can be found on the internet!

Part 4 caps off the tale that follows our adventures moving 7 empty airliners from Australia to the United States in 2 multi-ship ferry flight operations, and then back to Brisbane on individual flights over a year. This episode features original Jazz from the Steve Giordano Spacetet and the Symbiosis Syndicate, Giordano Sr.'s avant-garde atmospheric improvisation group.

One of (if not) the best series for any aviation enthusiast to watch. Can’t wait for your next post. Keep up the awesome content.

You have everything it takes to make a very successful channel: aviation adventure, personally, golf (lesure), and great jazz. I will be here to watch it grow. I only follow a select few channels, you are easily in my top 5. 💖

When I was actively controlling air traffic, I talked to many ferry flights. I had no idea of the logistics involved so your production opened my eyes to a whole new world. Thanks for your efforts and congratulations for a superb series. Looking forward to your next trip.

So good to watch our girls come home!! I was down watching the 7 depart and it broke all of our hearts. Seeing 341CG (VUI) come back and land back in brissy was so special. This has been such a hit with the entire workforce of VA. Would be awesome to see you guys onboard one of our flights! Can’t wait to see the next lot of adventures!!

This is 100% my new favorite YouTube channel. Can’t believe you’re not getting more views. I’ve managed to binge watch all cockpit casual videos in the span of a few short days. Patiently waiting for more! Awesome work Steve.

Fabulous series that got recommended to me just yesterday. What an exciting channel and career - glad to see that you can still fly airliners outside of the typical carriers.
Fascinating industry, hope to be part of it one day.

It always amazes me how these tiny Atoll's are populated, my main question I have is...how is Jet fuel brought to these small islands? Absolutely loving this series...keep up the fantastic work and safe flying!

Great vid. Love that approach into PKMJ, been in the jump seat for that landing many times when I was working for Nauru. Would love to get back there.
Was lucky enough to get stuck there for a couple of nights, met the President, had one of the ministers take us over for a bbq and beers on his private island other side of the lagoon, where we snorkeled on a DC3 and Huey that he’d sunk for that purpose.
Epic place!

Noted the comment on the price of fuel here in AGGH, I’ll have a chat with the supplier, see what I can do for you. 😉
Hopefully see you back here again, now things have calmed down and back to normal again.

Thank you for sharing your ferry flights. Yes, I remember friends talking about the old Continental Airlines 727 doing the island hopping across the Pacific to Guam back in the late 1970s and 1980s. And some of those island stations are so small and just employed now a days only by the cool nice indigenous people. Thanks again for sharing flying.

What a remarkable life you live. Each of your missions feels like an adventure, one that surely not everyone would be up to.

Your videos are amazing mate. Your storytelling is really taking us inside the cockpit.
