Conquered by Beauty of Loyola University Chicago: Windy Campus Walk Aug. 2024

Utterly beautiful, utterly beautiful…Such an impression of Loyola University Chicago lake shore campus repeated in my mind and shook my “soul,” during my walk and after. I was deeply touched by the crashing waves of Lake Michigan, the architecture, the plants, and the people. Maybe this is a university with a Jesuit, Catholic background, I felt humbleness, serenity and purity, surrounding the campus.

A mid-August afternoon. It was windy. This created a unique soothing, charming atmosphere, especially along the shore of Lake Michigan. I focused on the overall atmosphere of the campus, so I didn’t pay attention to every building. The church, Madonna della Strada Chapel, was one of the focused. Also, the Sacred Heart Shrine, attracted much of my attention. These two elements, I believe, are symbolic of Loyola University Chicago. The West Quad radiated an atmosphere of serenity, by its vast green lawn and the empty tables and chairs.

Absolutely GORGEOUS video!! Maybe the best from this creator. We see Loyola University campus in all its glory. The Lake, the blue waters and sky, we hear the wind and see the sunshine. All captured in a single continuous walk. The buildings and landscape sparkle. Every frame of this video should be treasured. Simply AMAZING!!
